Right Knee Pain
Case Description: Pt is a 65 year old male who arrived to physical therapy with reports of right knee pain that has lingered since his total knee replacement in 2019. He has on/off sharp pains on the outside of the right knee and feels increased stiffness/decreased range of motion and lack of stability on the right. He has difficulty with prolonged standing, sit to stands, and climbing ladders/stairs.
Objective Measures: The patient was seen for physical therapy 10 visits over a course of 5 weeks.

Summary: The patient was discharged from physical therapy due to reports of 100% improvement since the start of therapy. He no longer is having any pain in the right knee and is able to perform his daily tasks without any difficulty. He was educated on the use of his home exercise program to maintain gains in strength and range of motion as well as manage any future flare ups in the right knee.
